Job summary

Gaia College is seeking a Communications and Student Engagement Coordinator to manage public outreach, social media and communications.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about organic land care and student success. The ideal candidate has experience in communications, including writing and social media and enjoys engaging with prospective and current students by email, phone and in person. We are seeking an energetic voice to engage students and alumni and share the importance of organic land care.

Key responsibilities

• Engaging with prospective students, current students and alumni to ensure a positive experience

• Maintain social media channels including regular posts and engagement

• Maintain connections with Diploma Alumni through social channels and emails

• Attend Tradeshows as a representative for Gaia College

• Curate articles for the website blog

• Develop a monthly newsletter with relevant content for the target audience

• Maintain Gaia College’s association memberships

Compensation and Contract

This is a part-time, remote work position. Expected time commitment is 10-15 hours per week. Compensation is $30/hour. 

Start date: Immediately
